There was lots of space in the room. No bar, but there was a lounge area. Nice outdoor area. Pool was a bit small, but there was a traveling softball team there also. My main complaint would be the fridge had no freezer part to it. We traveled by car and had a mini cooler for drinks, but couldnt freeze our ice packs. Bummer. The staff at breakfast was very nice and worked very hard.

The room is so nice and spacious. The staff is really polite and friendly. It's also really nice being so close to downtown Rome!

Although the room was very comfortable and up-to-date, the wall air conditioners let in entirely too much noise. I was on the ground floor, closer to Hill Rd, but opposite Floyd Ave (South, and closer to East side). I tempered my review to four stars (I'd originally selected three) because there was construction ongoing on Floyd Ave to install the traffic circle at the intersection of those two roads, and the receptionist was thoughtful enough to move me to that particular room (I believe I was originally in a room facing Floyd). The construction did cease for the night at a very reasonable hour, but even the normal road noise on Hill was just unreasonable until it quieted down later at night. If you have the option, request a South-facing room, closer to the West side, that way you're further away from the intersection, and you only have to hear one road's worth of noise. I'd also encourage the hotel to use thicker filters, or somehow mitigate the noise coming in through those air conditioners. By the way, brown noise, from my music service, did a good job making most of the noise ... but then I had other noise. :)

The hotel was extremely clean. The service was impeccable and complementary breakfast was bountiful and satisfying.

We had booked our room through air miles. When we got there, there was a discrepancy with payment. The manager gave us a treat for having to wait .We contacted air miles with Facebook messenger and all was settled quickly. We had a nice room. Breakfast was great.
