Nice park during daylight hours.....I wouldn't hang around after dark. The city of Rome has made a lot of improvements here and I understand there are more to come. Very cool historic place to visit.
I went for Canalfest 2017..It was better last year...The bands were better last year there were more booths...I usually spend couple hundred dollars...not this year...worse year .....
Went to the Rome October Fest on Saturday. There was a great band and lots of food trucks. We took the family dog and had a good time. The city needs to really advertise this event. The crowd was sparse at best while we were there. They should put in lights and stay open until midnight. Closing around six was a tease. I love this city.
Great place to hang out and do some fishing. Bike rentals also available, and a nice paved trail along the canal.
Nice place. They need to clean up the sidewalks though. There is geese poop everywhere
