The car and price were incredible! The customer service lady was rude when we picked up our car but I was early. I'd still recommend budget to everyone I know!
I rented a car at Budget on June 11th 2017 before I even started the car I made sure that with all the other damage that this car had (which was a Toyota aveo with the bumpers coming off dents on the side)i had the representative mark down glass damage that was on the windshield. This was marked down on the sheet. When I return the car to the Yorkville location I was profusely apologize to for having been rented a car that had glass damage and that they weren't supposed to do that. I also made a complaint at the 1800 number. I just received a bill for $199 stating that I owe for glass damage. I have to spend my Saturday trying to get them to sift through their original paperwork and find where they circled that the glass damage had been incurred prior to me driving the vehicle. I will never be renting from Budget rental car again I am so disappointed in my experience please. Buyer beware: do not rent from them you're taking a chance on being scammed.
Can I please rate this negative five stars. The worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. They did not have the full sized car I reserved online. The manager said she upgraded me for free to a very small SUV RAV4. I informed her that there is not as much trunk space in a RAV4 as the full sized Nissan Maxima or the Impala. She immediately got frustrated with me maybe because it was Sunday and she had to work. She yelled and swore at me multiple times telling me the only car they had was a RAV4. I asked her if there was another budget near by and if there were any full sized cars at the other location? Her response was "How the hell should I know, you would know better than me". Well considering I do not work for budget or Avis, I would not know better than the "manager" that works for budget. She then says we do have a bigger SUV for more money. Well I never once said anything about not willing to pay more money. She then provided me with a larger SUV. Two days later I returned with the SUV clean and full of gas. Same manager. I set the keys on the counter, no hello, no how was the rental. First thing out of her mouth, How many miles are on it? I don't know lady, isn't it your job to go check. So She went outside to check. There was a piece of paper sitting on the counter in plain view of me and other customers describing her sex life in detail in what seemed to be a written letter to her man or whatever. She came back in typed in the computer handed me my receipt and sat back down writing her letter. She did not say I was all set. No thanks for choosing budget. Nothing. Tari is hands down the worst customer oriented, rude and non attentive manger I have ever dealt with period in any industry. I really hope she works out her relationship problems at home before she takes it out on another unsatisfied customer. Stay classy Rome Budget!
this budget rental place is a minute from where I work. the rentals that I get are always clean, full of gas and ready to go. the prices are great. i enjoy the driving experience of all the different new cars that i have rented so far from here. for the price of renting a car, it is so much better than putting miles on my own vehicle and I don't have to worry about having a break down with my car. Renting a car from Budget in Rome is really great for me and my family. thank you!
The woman working was incredibly rude and crass. I was shocked by her lack of professionalism. I have rented from this same location dozens of times and I will never rent there again.
